New Data on the Gregarines (Eugregarinorida, Cephaloidophoridae, Porosporidae) Parasites of the Black Sea Crabs (Decapoda, Reptantia). Belofastova I., Lozovsky V. L. — Gregarines of the families Porosporidae and Cephaloidophoridae (Eugregarinidae) were found from crabs Leocarcinus vernalis, Rhithropanopeus harrisi tridentate, Xantho poressa, Pilumnus hirtellus in the Black Sea. Three new species of Ñephaloidophora (Ñephaloidophora caliptrycephala Belofastova et Lozovsky, sp. n.; C. ovalis Belofastova et Lozovsky, sp. n. and C. dogieli Belofastova et Lozovsky, sp. n.) parasitising P. hirtellus are described. Genus Pachyporospora and species P. retopta and Ñepaloidophora drachi are found in the Black Sea for the first time. Ñ. rhythropanopei is redescribed.

Occurencies of Teratosus and Gynandromorphism among Some Species of Beetles of the Genus Polyphylla (Coleoptera, Melolonthidae) Vas’ko B. N. — For four species — Polyphylla (s. str.) fullo (Linnaeus, 1758), P. (s. str.) olivieri (Castelnau, 1840), P. (Mesopolyphylla) tridentata Reitter, 1890, and P. (Xerasiobia) adspersa Motschulsky, 1853 the brief descriptions of the detailed declinations from the typical structures of species are given, as well as the figures of the different parts of these structures and a list of the literature references. One specimen of gynandromorphic P. fullo was collected, and its morphological description together with corresponding illustrations is represented. For cockchafers above mentioned anomalies and gynandromorphism are recorded for the first time.

Distribution and Intraspecific Variability of the Crimean Endemic Snail Brephulopsis cylindrica (Gastropoda, Pulmonata, Buliminidae) behind the Native Area of Distribution. Vitchalkovskaya N. V. — The contemporary range of the land snail Brephulopsis cylindrica (Menke, 1828) in Ukraine is determined. Intra- and interpopulation peculiarities of the conchiometric variability are examined. The intraspecific variability does not depend on populations localization and conditioned by the founder’s effect, first of all.
Key words: Brephulopsis cylindrica, range, intraspecific variability, Crimea, Ukraine.

Possible Ways of Adaptation of Apis mellifera (Hymenoptera, Apidae) to Parasitizing of Mite Varroa destructor. Akimov I. G., Kiryushin V. E. — Ways of Apis mellifera adaptation against Varroa destructor parasitizing are described. The hygienic behaviour of bees is shown to be perspective for this process. The hygienic behaviour of bees with changes of the parasite quantity in bees colonies, indexes of their resis-tance to wintering are found to be correlated, and the character of such correlation is shown..
Key words: Apis mellifera, Varroa destructor, hygienic behaviour of bees, resistance to wintering.

Cytogenetical Monitoring of the Malaria Mosquito Population in Lower Dnieper Area. Shuvalikov V. B. — The last cut of long-term cytogenetical monitoring of malaria mosquito populations in the lower Dnieper area is presented. The main object of investigations were the changes in the species proportions in a mixed population of the malaria mosquito. Biotopical differentiation for the species of Anopheles maculipennis Meigen. complex is demonstrated. The restitution of A. messeae Falleroni dominance in the reedbeds was obtained affer 2000 year, but some populations, which were closely connected with the anthropogenic factor. Increasing of A. hyrcanus Pallas role in water bodies of different types was recently observed.
Key words: malaria mosquito, cytogenetics, Anopheles maculipennis sibling species complex.

Seasonal Changes of the Species Composition of Carnivore Aquatic Beetles (Coleoptera, Hydradephaga) in the Southern Ukraine of the Steppe Intermittent Rivers. Dyadichko V. G. — Seasonal changes of the species composition of Hydradephaga from different reservoirs of the floodplain ecosystems of the steppe intermittent rivers of the south-western part of Ukraine is described. The most various species composition of the beetles in these rivers occurs in the flood time or just after it (end of March – end of May). Peculiarities of the seasonal dynamics of aquatic Adephaga during years with warm (2000–2001) and cold winters (2005–2006) are analyzed.
Key words: ñarnivore aquatic beetles, Hydradephaga, seasonal changes of species composition, steppe intermittent rivers.
